Philly Subs & Gyros

Mehdi opened his first restaurant and introduced Cache Valley to Mediterranean cuisine. His restaurant Philly Subs served cold cut sandwiches and gyros. This was the first restaurant in Cache Valley that offered Greek food.

1998

Original Greek Olive

After locals got a taste of Mediterranean cuisine, Mehdi decided to create a new restaurant which exclusively served Greek food. The first Greek Olive was created and locals enthusiastically welcomed the new business to Logan, Utah.

2000

Greek Olive Express

Due to high demand, Mehdi decided to expand the restaurant. In 2000 he opened a second location which offered a drive through version of the popular Greek Olive restaurant.

2005

Greek Island Broiler

After moving from Logan to Roy, friends and family encouraged him to once again craft his authentic Greek cuisine. In 2005, Mehdi opened Greek Island Broiler, adding delicious Greek food to the list of local culinary choices.

2017

Current Day Greek Olive

In 2017, Mehdi decided to come out of retirement to bring the taste of the Mediterranean to Roy once again!
